Snaking across the old Roman frontier, neatly laid rows of stone snake rise and fall along the earth surface like an ancient serpent cutting though waves of grass. These are the ruins of Hadrians wall. The roman fortification that separated the Roman south from the Pictish north.
Each brick has been recreated in delicate pen work, mirroring the work of the masons of old.
